Les Fenêtres à Coin en N-BK7 TECHSPEC® sont disponibles en tailles métriques standards avec un coin de 30 minutes d’arc. Le coin de ces fenêtres élimine les effets d’étalon en empêchant les réflexions de la surface arrière de se déplacer le long du même chemin optique que le faisceau transmis. Dans les cavités laser, les fenêtres à coin permettent d’éviter l’instabilité du laser, les sauts de mode et les pics de puissance causés par ces réflexions indésirables. Les Fenêtres à Coin en N-BK7 TECHSPEC sont souvent utilisées comme une alternative moins couteuse aux Fenêtres à Coin en Silice Fondue dans les applications qui n’exigent pas de transmission UV ou lorsqu’une stabilité thermique élevée n’est pas nécessaire, par exemple avec des lasers visibles ou NIR de faible puissance. Les fenêtres à coins peuvent également être utilisées comme échantillonneurs de faisceau ou optiques de prélèvement pour surveiller les propriétés du faisceau laser, telles que la puissance du faisceau, au fil du temps.
